As most of you know over here at Geode Swimwear we're not the biggest fans of Black Friday/Cyber Monday. We find it some what ironic that we go from a day of friends, family and giving thanks to a day of spending and materialism. However we still love giving you all a chance to get a new Geode suit at a discount, so what we've done the past 4 years to make Black Friday seem a little less worldly is we donate 5% of sales during Black Friday through Cyber Monday to a non profit charity submitted by one of our followers.
This year we had so many great submissions it was extremely difficult to pick just one but we finally ended up deciding on donating to Autism Speaks. Autism speaks is a foundation that offers many services and supports to family's and individuals that have autism, but the majority of their efforts go towards early screening of Autism and research to help people with Autism live life to the fullest.
This Black Friday/ Cyber Monday was our biggest year ever and we want to thank you all for your ongoing support to us and our brand. Because of your support we were able to donate just over $2,000 to Autism Speaks that will go on to help 1 in 45 people in the United States that suffers from Autism.
