We knew as we grew our small swimsuit company that eventually we would run into issues with other companies (typically companies out of the U.S) knocking off our suits and designs. Even though we tried to prepare ourselves for that day that it would happen it was still pretty hard the first time a customer sent us a screen shot of an ad they had been targeted with and the picture was one of our swimsuits :'(
All Our Styles are Unique to Our Brand
Unlike a boutiques business model our designer spends countless hours designing our own custom swimsuit styles to be cute, modest and trendy and they can only be found on our website, if it's not from our website it's not ours! We understand that there is only so much legal action that we can take to stop other companies from using our swimwear designs but we made sure to go leave a couple bad reviews on the product pages saying they were stolen designs from Geode Swimwear haha.
It's been about 50/50 whether they are using our exact product images or if they photoshop them, but here are the two suits that we have seen the most on other websites. While we have seen knock offs of several of our styles our more modest tankini tops and high waisted bikini bottom options seem to the ones they knock off the most.
We have done what we can to take legal action when we find brands selling Geode knockoffs however it is difficult because there aren't many laws protecting clothing designs especially when the companies are typically based overseas :/
However we have really appreciated everyone that has had our backs and have sent us screenshots when they find a knockoff, please keep this up! As always, thank you so much for your support, we love you all! XOXO
