Like I said in the review for the matching top, I fell in love with this swimsuit as soon as I saw it on their website. Took me about a year but I finally ordered it. I have a petite frame, small busted and curvy pear shaped, so it's hard to find swimsuits that fit. I love that with this company you can order your swimsuit pieces in separate sizes. Not all websites do this. After reading reviews and looking at the model and size chart, I went with a Small in the bottoms. I am 5'3" and 115lbs. Normally I wear a size small, or a 2-4 in bottoms. I have thicker thighs and very curvy hips, but a small waist and usually I have an issue with high waisted suits gapping in the waist and tight on the booty. The small did fit, but it felt a little tight around the waist and the booty. So I'd say for me, the bottoms ran small because of my frame. I decided to exchange them for a medium. The process was very simple and I received the new size pretty quickly. The medium fit much better, giving me a little more room and making them more comfortable to move around in. I don't like the way I look in high waisted suits but I wanted something more conservative without a one piece. This hit the mark. Because I have a short torso, a lot of times high waisted suits with bands at the top make me look like I have a tummy pooch. This has some ruching instead of a band so it helps slim the tummy area a little more.
The quality was great (although I haven't worn it enough times to know long term yet). I did wash it by hand and let it air dry per the instructions. I know a lot of people were saying the color isn't as pictured. I will say that it looks a tad more gold in the photos online. But some people were saying it looks green in person. I think this is one of those things we're it depends on how the person perceives color. I could see a slight green undertone possibly. But overall the color of the print looks more tan/gold to me in person. The white is a true white as well. Overall I'm happy with the swimsuit so far.
