Faded quickly

I absolutely love the fit on this top. However, after only 3 wears in the pool it started fading, even though I rinsed it very thoroughly with clear water after swimming. After less than 10 wears in the pool the color has completely faded. I’m hesitant to rebuy when it isn’t long lasting, but considering cost per wear, maybe it’s still worth it?
