As other people have shared, these shorts are great, but the elastic in the band is too short, and the elastic is very strong. I sized up to a large and it did not help elastic issue.
This is an easy fix for a moderately handy person however! Instead of returning the shorts I opened the back seam of the waistband and pulled the elastic through. Easy to replace or in my case extend to make longer.
I sized up from a medium and wish I hadn’t - the result is that the fabric is loose and less flattering. When the elastic was tight, but the fabric loose, it made a pronounced square shape of my hips that was neither flattering nor comfortable.
This seems like a very easy fix for the company in future batches, so I hope they address it! Otherwise the fabric is really nice, the print is adorable, the cut is great and I love the coverage.
Bought an xl and the waist was SO small. They’re also incredibly high and that’s not usually a problem for me on my long torso

This peplum tankini top has become my absolute favorite bathing suit I’ve ever own. I’ve never been excited to put on a bathing suit before, but I can’t wait for my upcoming holiday to wear this!!!

This is such a versatile swim top. I love the option of working out in it or just lounging in it all day and then jumping in some refreshing water. Been looking for a bathing suit that I'm comfortable in and that makes sense and this has been the #1 brand so far. The quality is also the best I've seen on the market anywhere
I have purchased a few Geode swimsuits with satisfaction. I love that they are more modest but so stylish. This swimsuit is great for those who want a bit more coverage in the chest but not to be strangled by a super high neckline. The design is simple and elegant.
The clasp in the back is easy to use and stays closed, which I haven't always found with other suits. If you want more coverage in the rear, however, this may not fit your needs. It rides up a lot.
I absolutely love these swim shorts! This is my second swimsuit from Geode, and the quality is amazing as usual. They fit well and are very flattering, the color turned out just as in the picture. I am normally size S, ordered S and it fits perfectly. :)
I’m 5’3” and 120 lbs. A cup. I’ve been on the search for a nice coverage suit for a long time! This top makes me feel so confident! I got the skirt bottom as well. In the bottoms I started with a size S after reading reviews to size up. I ended up exchanging for size XS because I found the band had a lot of stretch. I will plan on also keeping the S because I love the suit so much I would hate to regret the XS. I have not tried swimming in either so I’m not sure how much stretch will happen when the fabric is wet.
The top I originally ordered an XS because the model is wearing a size S however the XS was WAY too large. I exchanged for an XXS and I am much happier. The S was comfortable but I didn’t want it to be too loose around my chest. I love the off the shoulder look and ruffles!
The fabric quality is fantastic. I’m so pleased! More patterns please I will be back for more!
I’ve bought from them before but feel the materials have gotten cheaper. The color continues to wash off even after the third time wearing it and rinsing right after wearing. Makes me wonder how much of this color is getting on my skin every time I wear it in the water. The coral color washes into the white part which no longer looks white but a light coral color now. Will not be purchasing from this brand again. I do not think the materials or style are worth the large price tag anymore.

I looked at the size guide, and I got a large in the top in a large in the bottom, the bottoms are really tight on me. Top was a little bit loose, but I feel like if I went to a medium, it would have been too tight.
I was really excited to get the coral set because of the color that you show in the image on your website unfortunately, I think I got a bad batch because the color of the swimsuit was completely faded. Which is crazy because the photo still makes it look like it has a lot of pigment to the color.I saw that was coral but I thought it would’ve been a more pigmented coral color like it was in the image. Sadly, it was not however, the green set, I loved.
I’m 5’8, 120 lbs and ordered a size Small. It fits perfectly and is so flattering!! The warm color of the print is beautiful. The white crotchet-like trim is such a pretty detail. The open back is fun and flirty. The straps are NOT too thick (I thought they might be for my smaller bust). I probably spent over 2 hours debating on which style to buy and I’m so glad that I chose this one! The 2 swimsuits that I own are both from Geode — and chances are, my third will be, as well.
I loved this swimsuit so much! I loved the color, I loved the fit, and the fabric. The details around the arms and legs were so cute. I had to return it though because I went by the size chart and it was way too big on me unfortunately. I would’ve needed a size down. It went on sale for $36 the week after I purchased and I asked for a price match, and they said no. So I just returned the suit I got instead.
I have been searching for just the right bikini cut and I finally found it in this suit! The pattern is so cute and unique and the suit itself is definitely comfortable. Be prepared if you’ve got some boobs that the cut of the top will give you some cleavage - but without fear of your boobs falling out if you’re planning on being more active in the water! I will be buying again from this brand :)
I really love the Bali set - it’s an elevated look while still being classy and it makes me feel like I am on a beach in Italy or something haha
I would size up because it’s a stiffer fabric (for top and bottom) than most geode suits.
My only issue is that the sanitary liner that always comes on the bottom left a crazy amount of sticky residue on the crotch and I’m not entirely sure how to get that off. I have already hand washed without luck.
Any advice on how to remove sticky residue is welcome hahah I want to bring this suit on my honeymoon in 4 weeks!
I've recently had a baby and I was looking for something a little more modest in the stomach area, so I ordered the matching high-waisted bottom, as well. The print and colors are exactly as pictured and the items arrived so quickly! Important to note: I have a petite body (105-110ish) and a 32DD chest, so I'm always worried about the size ratio, but the top fit me perfectly and despite ordering the smallest size I didn't feel like I was going to spill out. I'm very happy with my two purchases knowing that I'll feel cute and comfortable at my upcoming Labor Day lake trip. :)
I was happy when I tried this on in pairing with the high wasted coral shorts. The combination was high enough (shorts) and long enough (top) to not show my belly button. I'm 5' 8" tall, 145lbs, with longer legs and a shorter torso. I've had 4 babies and would prefer not to show my well loved belly area 🙃 I feel great in this swim suit. And my husband likes it too!
I bought this as part of my daughter's 21st birthday gifts. It fits her beautifully! The athletic style will keep it in place but doesn't squash her feminine form. She loves the tiny daisies (which to me also look like stars form a distance) and the color is just right: not too dark and not too bright. The high waist covers some "body art" that the world doesn't need to see. We are both happy with the quality of this suit.

I bought four swimsuits from Geode and am so happy with how they all look and feel on me. I am usually a small on bottom and an extra small on top, but decided to get small in everything. I could have gotten away with an extra small in all because the fabric is a little baggy in areas. I will say though, if you have a wider than average booty, these are not completely full coverage. I would love to see Geode release more swim short options!
