After having 2 babies, breast-feeding both, and having an extremely high value of my husband being the only one to know what i look like in my birthday suit, (which includes dressing in such a way that leaves space so every crease isn’t available for visual inspection) i have finally found the swim suit of my dreams. I have tried to be modest and find a swimsuit that isn’t subject to wardrobe malfunctions since my teens. And well …. Everything felt kinda… Amish or homeschooled(?) there’s nothing wrong with that, but i enjoy style, beauty, and not looking frumpy. This is it!!!! (May i also suggest the swim skirts to anyone who shares my values! They are adorable too) I’ve purchased from Geode before and the swim suit lasted 5 years! 5 years! And i had only one swimsuit, the Geode one, so it was the only swimsuit i wore for 5years. It made enough room for my baby bump and faithfully showed up for me at least once a week at the local recreation center pool. When i finally need a new one i saw this new little number and squealed. The fabric is so soft, it doesn’t hug where it doesn’t belong, and i love the built in bottoms. Im about 5’3 and currently 140 lbs and wearing a medium. The torso has room for people whom are taller but doesn’t bunch on the petite girlies. I know that this suit wont swallow me in fabric as i continue to lose the postpartum weight, but its also got plenty to stretch if a few months of busy seasons cause a backslide in weight lost. Can you see the shine…

I love this swim dress! It’s cute, it’s flattering, and it’s not frumpy while being very conservative. It’s long enough that my whole booty is covered and I don’t feel like I’m going to fall out the top or expose myself when I bend over while being stretchy enough that I can nurse my baby also! The color is true to the photos, the flower detailing is so pretty, and it’s thick enough to not feel flimsy and revealing while not being heavy.

I ordered a small and it fit well. My measurements were on the smaller side of the small range. If I wanted a little shorter and more bodycon an xs would fit well. A medium would probably have been too large.

Cons:

The hygiene liner left a sticky residue that I cannot remove, I will probably have to wear underwear with my suit because of this.

I wish the underlayer was shorts instead of underwear style. Given the level of modesty of this suit, I’d think most wearers would want full booty coverage should it drift up or when bending over and sitting.

I also don’t love the seams on the underlayer that show through the suit, especially the waist one. It looks like I’m wearing ill fitting and obvious underwear underneath.

The shelf bra is much too low, it really does nothing to lift and if anything makes them appear lower than nursing has already.

I will be keeping and this will be my primary suit because of the cuteness factor and because my biggest needs are met. Maybe one day I will find my perfect fit, but until then, this swimsuit…

At first I was nervous to buy this swim dress because there were no clear pictures of what the under piece looks like. I knew the seams would affect the overall silhouette and possibly be very unflattering. This swimsuit is very high quality and thick. I’ve included the most decent picture I could take of the swimsuit shape that is underneath the outer dress piece.

My measurements are 5’ 2” in height,

39in bust, 32in waist (40 inches around low waist), 42in hips. I got a medium and it fits slightly snug, the way I wanted it to.

After a few uses in the hot tub, it became faded and discolored. But I emailed them about it, and they immediately sent me a new one. I would say don’t wear these in the hot tub. The temperature/chlorine is too much. But with proper care (read their guide), I think they’ll hold up well at the beach and lake.

Super cute swimsuit, true to size. I’ll use the faded one as my exclusive hot tub suit.
